• We need to find creative solutions to address critical issues (i.e., class sizes) that support both teachers and students while ensuring compliance with state law. Our focus should be on fostering positive learning environments that maximize student success and support for our educators. 

• Therefore, I encourage all teachers, students, parents, and other stakeholders to attend and speak at the May (next month) GCPS Board meeting; the current board, including my opponent, will decide on the terms of the strategic waiver, a contractual agreement that will remain in effect from July 2024 - July 2030.
